I push my seed somewhere deep in her chest
I push it naked 'cause I've taking my test
Deliver it Mary, it don't matter the sex
I'm gonna name it rock and roll

"So fuck you, Los Angeles, fuck your palm trees, and your highassed women, and your fancy streets, for I am going home, back to Colorado, back to the best damned town in the USA - Boulder, Colorado."
— John Fante

Always been a fan of Raphael Saadiq both as a Musician and all-around stylish dude. With his new album just released, Stone Rollin' (which is really good) noticed he got some recent press in Esquire for a song challenge they had. I wish his album had more songs like it. Have a listen below:

Raphael Saadiq in "Last Night in Detroit"

About the song he wrote for Esquire:
"It's about having too much whiskey and wandering around Detroit. I get so drunk, I don't notice I broke into Motown. From there an angel kisses me and it feels like it's a Supreme. And then I'm having a smoke with James Jamerson, a Motown legend and my favorite bass player. It's a freaky fantasy kind of deal." Via Esquire
