Winter Weekend
It's cold. I'm sick. It's winter. Still there's is something that draws me to the icy, cold, chilly weather...Maybe its the frost on the windshield or the way you can see your breath in the air or the chimney filled air...who knows? This is a great time to be sick anyway, not like I want to be out there.
Maybe I'll read a good book or warm up to the fire with a good movie and some soup...yes, soup. Good Bob Dylan listening weather. It took me a while to appreciate Bob Dylan but as I got older, Dylan finally made sense. One of my favorite tracks below from the album, Blonde on Blonde.

The Traveler
There was a time when flying meant something, you were going somewhere, it was exciting. Stewardesses wore uniforms fit for a runway, men wore suits and sipped on cold martinis. Today most people dress like they're taking the bus, not catching a plane. If you're going to travel, do it in style.
You don't have to wear a suit just keep it simple and pair a navy blazer with a white dress shirt and some classic tennis shoes like Adidas Samba or Jack Purcells. You can still be comfortable and not have to look like you schlepped out of bed. For luggage I highly suggest Jack Spade for both quality and style. Make sure to put your passport somewhere safe or use a stylish passport holder like the one below.
Don't forget to load the iPOD with new music, try anything from Astrud Gilberto, no matter where you're going the easy samba sounds will take you some place warm and cancel out the noisy kid behind you kicking your seat. Don't forget to grab a good book and leave the magazines and best-sellers for the suckers. I always go for the classics like, Steinbeck's East of Eden or one of the other top 100 novels out there.

Office Space
